I keep comprehensive driver records for all my pupils. This allows us to know learn strong points, and where extra revision is needed.

do your research and make sure the instructor you choose is the right one for you. If you feel comfortable with your instructor, and confident in their abilities, you will learn faster and more effectively.

To this end, I always recommend that you take a one hour trial lesson with any instructor you are considering taking lessons with. This way you can tell if the instructor is the right one for you.
